Chestertons Polo in the Park, Hurlingham Park London - polointheparklondon.com 5th -7th June 2015 - Held annually in Hurlingham Park we pray for the same glorious weather as last year. Polo matches take place over the three days, watch them from the grandstand or from the garden of this years chosen champagne house, Lanson. Saturday and Sunday are the best days to visit, Sunday especially good for the whole family including children. 

Investec Derby Day, Epsom Downs - investec.co.uk 6th June 2015 - From 11am onwards visitors are promised a day of exceptional flat racing. This year there has been a huge PR push on the fashion side of things. Celebrities such as Millie Macintosh and Laura Whitmore are the chosen fashion ambassadors for the day. Ladies get your hats out, the bigger the better.

Royal Ascot - ascot.co.uk 16th - 20th June 2015 - One of Britain's most anticipated and iconic races, Royal Ascot is Britain's most valuable race meeting attracting visitors internationally. Dress codes are strict and vary slightly depending on whether you are have tickets for The Royal Enclosure, Grandstand or Silver Ring. Heavily reported through the media, this year undoubtedly will see an array of celebrities, aristocrats and of course HRH The Queen and Prince Philip.

Wimbledon - wimbledon.com 29th June - 12th July 2015 - Tennis, sunshine, strawberries and cream, champagne, mowed lawns = Wimbledon, and for many the start of summer. Having started in 1877 as a men's tournament, Wimbledon remains a firm sporting fixture attracting the finest tennis players from around the world.


Henley Royal Regatta - hrr.co.uk 1st - 5th July 2015 - Established in 1839 Henley Regatta is the best know regatta in the world and attracts thousands of visitors each year. This is the first year since 1976 that the regatta will be broadcast across the media.

Glynebourne Festival, East Sussex - glyndebourne.com June, July and August 2015 - Recognised globally as one of the great opera houses, Glynebourne promises a summer filled with opera and the chance to picnic in your finest. This season's operas include Poliuto, The Rape of Lucretia, Saul and Ravel Double Bill. Take along a picnic and pray for sun.

Port Eliot Festival, St Germans Cornwall - porteliotfestival.com 30th July - 2nd August 2015 - Set in the ancient house and gardens of Port Eliot spanning back more than 1,000 years, The Port Eliot Festival is a weekend filled with literature, music, comedy, food and fashion. Well known faces such as Rick Stein and Tom Parker Bowles will be giving advice on food and drink and you will get the chance to learn about bees, canoeing and an opportunity to take a tour of the gardens. Ebor Festival, York - yorkracecourse.co.uk 19th - 22nd August 2015 - This four day race festival is highlight in the Yorkshire summer social calendar. The best days to go are Ladies Day on the Thursday and Ebor Day on the Saturday.

Goodwood Revival, West Sussex - goodwood.com 11th - 13th September 2015 - Since 1998 the Goodwood Revival has been showcasing the best in classic car racing at the Goodwood Circuit. The three day festival brings together a crowd of classic motor enthusiasts - racers, exhibitors and spectators. Visitors dress the part in vintage 1950s and 60s attire to re-enact the golden era of motor sport.
